Yoga Basics 101

If you feel a little lost in any of the Yang Yoga sessions, not to worry... I have your back!

You are not the only one, and we all had to start our Yoga journey somewhere :)

In this video, I go through some of the main Yoga postures and break down each one so you can check your alignment and make sure you are doing your yoga at home safely.

I go through the following Asanas (Postures):

  • Down Facing Dog
  • Up facing Dog
  • Chaturanga, plank & Cobra Pose
  • Child's Pose
  • Triangle Pose
  • Warrior Pose Sequence
  • Forward Fold
  • Bridge Pose

In the Yang Yoga sessions, I focus more on flow rather than alignment, so make sure to watch this video before you do the other sessions.

Yes, alignment is essential, but what is also important is to have fun!

Remember to be your own Guru and listen to your body. Don't ever push yourself too far.
